Using this website

This website is provided by Larchmast Roofing to share information about our services and to let you request an estimate or service. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Estimates and pricing

Prices and ranges shown on this website are typical figures for general information. They are not quotes. The price for your job is set in the written estimate we give you after we have seen the roof, and that estimate is what applies. Permit fees and any per-sheet decking price are listed on the estimate where they apply.

Insurance claims

When an insurance claim is involved, you file the claim and deal with your insurer. We can document damage and meet the adjuster if you ask us to, but we are not a public adjuster and do not negotiate claims. Your insurer decides what is covered, and you remain responsible for your deductible and for any work you approve that the insurer does not pay for.

Scheduling and service

Start dates and arrival windows are estimates. Weather, material deliveries, inspection schedules and earlier jobs can change them, and we will call if a date moves. We do not work on roofs in lightning, high wind, rain or ice. You agree to give our crews safe access to the roof, the attic and space for a dumpster or trailer, and to tell us about any hazards we should know about. Roof work is loud, and nails or debris can fall near the house during a job.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is complete unless we have agreed to different terms in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your estimate or invoice. Financing, where offered, is subject to approval and the lender's terms.

Guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed as described on your invoice. Shingles and other materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty on its own terms. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by later storms, hail, falling trees, foot traffic, other contractors, or events outside our control.

Limits of liability

The information on this site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that result from relying on general information on the site instead of a written estimate from us. Safety information on this site does not replace a call to 911 or your utility in an emergency.
